Jessie Algie's paintings were shown in big art exhibitions. In 1899, two of her paintings were displayed at the Royal Scottish Academy. This is a famous art institution in Scotland. Later, her work was also shown at the Royal Academy in London. This is one of the most important art galleries in the United Kingdom.

In 1908, Jessie had a special art show in London. It was at the Baille Gallery. She shared this exhibition with other artists like Anne Muir and Jessie M. King. Throughout her career, Jessie also showed her art at other places. These included the Aberdeen Artists Society and the Royal Institute of Oil Painters. She also exhibited at the Glasgow Institute of Fine Art.

Later in her life, Jessie Algie lived in a place called Kirn in Argyll. You can still see some of her amazing artwork today. The Glasgow Art Gallery has examples of her paintings. Also, the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool owns one of her famous works. It is a painting called Pink and Sunflowers.
