Joana Benedek is a talented actress who was born in Romania. She later became a Mexican citizen and is famous for her roles in many TV shows called telenovelas.
Joana was born Roxana Joana Benedek Godeanu on January 21, 1972, in Bucharest, Romania. When she was older, she decided to leave her home country to find new opportunities. She first moved to Venezuela.
In the city of Caracas, Venezuela, Joana continued her studies for a while. However, she later chose to work as a model. She also started acting in several telenovelas. In 1997, she signed a contract with a well-known makeup company in New York City. While living there, she decided to study acting more seriously at the Academy of Susan Grace.
