John Martinkovic facts for kids
John George Martinkovic (born February 4, 1927 – died February 8, 2018) was an American football player. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio.
Martinkovic played as a defensive lineman in the National Football League (NFL). He played for two famous teams: the Green Bay Packers and the New York Giants. Before joining the NFL, he played college football and basketball at Xavier University. He was chosen in the sixth round of the 1951 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins.
John Martinkovic passed away on February 8, 2018, in Allouez, Wisconsin. He was 91 years old and died due to health issues related to dementia.
