John Richardson was born in England on June 10, 1946. He is a British expert who creates amazing special effects for movies. He is especially known for his work on the James Bond film series and all the Harry Potter movies. He also worked on the action-packed film A Bridge Too Far (1977) and the sci-fi classic Aliens (1986).
For his incredible work on Aliens, John Richardson won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects in 1987. This is one of the biggest awards in the movie world! He also won a BAFTA Award for Best Special Visual Effects for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in 2011. He was even nominated for another Academy Award for that Harry Potter film.
