Johnny Morris Davis (born July 15, 1962) is an American former kickboxer. He was known for competing in the welterweight and middleweight divisions. People called him "Superfoot" because of his amazing skills. Johnny Davis won many important titles, including two world championships.

Johnny Davis's Kickboxing Journey
Johnny Davis was born in Dillon, South Carolina. He still lives in the Carolinas today. He started learning karate when he was young. He worked hard and earned a high-level black belt.
Becoming a Champion
After doing well in point fighting, Johnny decided to try full-contact kickboxing. This is a type of kickboxing where fighters hit each other with full power. From 1980 to 1984, he won many regional kickboxing titles.
On February 2, 1985, Johnny beat Alvin Prouder in Denver, Colorado. This win made him the PKA World Welterweight Champion. In 1987, he won another big title, the FFKA Championship. That same year, he also won the ISKA U.S. Middleweight Championship. This exciting fight was even shown on ESPN.
Johnny Davis had a great career. He won 25 fights and lost only 6. He knocked out his opponents in 13 of his wins.
After Retirement
Johnny Davis stopped competing in 1988. However, he stayed involved in martial arts. In 1996, he helped organize several kickboxing matches in California. He also started working with the IKF.
In 2002, Johnny wrote a book called The Art of Kickboxing. It was a training guide based on his own experiences. He also started his own company, AK Promotions, to help promote kickboxing events.
