Johnny Morris Davis, born on July 15, 1962, is an American former kickboxer. He competed in the welterweight and middleweight divisions. People often called him "Superfoot" because of his amazing kicks. Johnny Davis won many important titles, including two world championships in kickboxing.

Johnny Davis's Kickboxing Career
Johnny Davis was born in Dillon, South Carolina. He started training in karate when he was young. He worked hard and eventually earned a second-degree black belt. After doing well in point fighting tournaments, he decided to try full contact kickboxing. This type of kickboxing involves hitting your opponent with full power.
Becoming a Champion Kickboxer
From 1980 to 1984, Johnny Davis won many regional kickboxing titles. These titles showed he was one of the best fighters in his area. On February 2, 1985, he won the PKA World Welterweight Championship. This big win happened in Denver, Colorado.
In 1987, he continued his winning streak. He won the FFKA Championship. That same year, he also won the ISKA U.S. Middleweight Championship. This exciting fight was even shown on ESPN! Johnny Davis finished his career with a great record: 25 wins and only 6 losses. He won 13 of his fights by knockout, meaning he ended the fight early.
Life After Retirement
Johnny Davis retired from fighting in 1988. However, he stayed very involved in the world of martial arts. In 1996, he helped organize several kickboxing matches in California. He also started working with the IKF.
In 2002, Johnny Davis wrote a book about his training. It was called The Art of Kickboxing. He also started his own company, AK Promotions. This company helps promote new kickboxing events and fighters.
