John "Johnny" Jeter (born October 24, 1944 – died January 16, 2024) was an American professional baseball player. He played as an outfielder in Major League Baseball (MLB). Johnny Jeter played for four different teams during his career. These teams were the Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, Chicago White Sox, and Cleveland Indians. His career in the MLB lasted from 1969 to 1974.
Jeter was a student at Grambling State University before he became a professional player. He threw and batted with his right hand. He was 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighed 180 pounds.
