Jojo Wings is a company from the Czech Republic. They make special flying equipment. This includes paragliders and parachutes. They also make parafoil kites. These kites can be used for sports on snow or land. The company is based in Roudnice nad Labem.
How Jojo Wings Started
Jojo Wings began in 1992. Just one year later, in 1993, their equipment was used in the World Paragliding Championships. The company quickly grew. They started making canopies for powered paragliding. Many champions in Europe and their home country won using Jojo Wings equipment.
By 1994, Jojo Wings also started making kites. These kites were for sports like snow boarding. Two World Champions in snow boarding used Jojo kites. In the same year, the company began making parachutes. These were first for everyday use, then later for military use.
Jojo Wings Products Over Time
In the mid-2000s, Jojo Wings offered many paragliders. These included the fast Addiction model. They also had the Yoki for intermediate flyers. The Quest Bi was a two-person paraglider. It was often used for flight training.
A reviewer named Noel Bertrand looked at Jojo Wings paragliders in 2003. He noticed that their prices were very good. He said, "The prices are very interesting."
By 2016, the company focused its production. They were making one paraglider model, the Speedy. They also made five different parachute models. These parachutes were the HOP 330, Sonic, Raptor, XF15, and Base.
