He later spent time on loan to other Spanish teams like Almería, Poli Ejido, and Albacete to gain more experience.

Time at Barcelona B

On July 30, 2009, Soriano joined FC Barcelona's reserve team, Barcelona B. He quickly became a key player for them. He helped the team get promoted back to the second division after 11 years.

In the 2010–11 season, he scored 32 goals. This made him the top scorer in the division and set a new club record for Barcelona B.
