Jonathan "Jonti" Picking (born 17 May 1975), also known as Weebl or Mr Weebl, is a British Internet personality. He is famous for creating Flash animations and is the person behind Weebl's Stuff.
His animations are known for their catchy, repeated tunes and funny, often strange conversations. Most of his videos feature a memorable song with silly words, combined with an animation that loops over and over. Jonti usually does most of the voices in his animations himself. Sometimes, he even appears in live-action parts of his videos. He has also worked with other animators on YouTube, like Edd Gould.

Jonti Picking's Career
Jonti Picking is a skilled sound engineer and artist. He also worked on special 3D visual effects for the movie Resident Evil. In 2003, he created several advertisements for Anchor Butter. These ads were made in the same style as his popular Weebl and Bob animations, but they featured cows. These commercials were shown on TV in the UK.
Jonti also made the animated title sequence and links for the TV show Totally Viral. This show, on UKTV G2, featured video clips and cartoons from the internet. Jonti started his own company called Sumo Dojo. Later, he left it to create Weebl's Stuff Limited, also known as Weebl Ltd. This company was later replaced by Jelly Penguin Productions Ltd. In 2009, Jonti made radio and TV ads for Yell.com's 118 24 7 service. These ads used the tune from his "Magical Trevor" animation.
Weebl's Stuff Website
Weebl's Stuff is Jonti Picking's personal website. It started by featuring his own creations, like the show "Weebl and Bob." This show was first on Newgrounds before moving to Weebl's Stuff. The website quickly grew to include many different series and a team of staff. Besides making animations for the site, usually twice a week, Weebl's Stuff also creates animations for other companies. Some of their clients have included E4, Yellow Pages, and Anchor.
HuHa YouTube Channel
In 2012, Jonti Picking started making videos for the YouTube comedy channel HuHa. He used the name Jelly Penguin for these works. He created several short animations, including "Evil Guy," which made fun of super-villains. He also made "Beef House," a parody of the A-Team where the main characters are butchers. Another series was "BAD Advice," which poked fun at old public information films from the 1970s and 1980s.
Team Badger Campaign
In 2013, Jonti Picking joined forces with Queen guitarist Brian May. Brian May is also an animal rights activist. They also worked with actor Brian Blessed and several animal rights groups, like the RSPCA. Together, they formed "Team Badger." This group was against the British Government's plan to cull badgers.
Picking, May, and Blessed recorded a song called Save The Badger Badger Badger. This song was a mix of Jonti's 2003 animation Badgers and Queen's song Flash. Brian Blessed provided vocals for the song. Jonti also animated the music video for the song. The video included parts from his original "Badger" animation. It also featured a scene from the 1980 film Flash Gordon, where Brian Blessed played Prince Vultan. Queen had provided the soundtrack for that movie. On 1 September 2013, Save The Badger Badger Badger reached No. 79 on the UK Singles Chart. It also hit No. 1 on the iTunes Rock chart.
Savlonic Music Group
Savlonic is a synthpop/synthwave virtual band. The band members are characters portrayed by real people. Rosco, the singer, is portrayed by Jonti Picking. Eve, the singer and keyboardist, is portrayed by Sarah Darling. Kandi Flaus, the backing vocalist and drummer, is portrayed by Katt Wade. Kaspar Funk, the guitarist, is Daniel Dobbs.
As of March 2019, nine Savlonic songs have music videos. Jonti Picking animated "Electro Gypsy," "Tiny Japanese Girl," and "Action Causes Reaction." The last one was even made as a VR experience. Peabo animated the videos for "Wandering Eye," "The Driver," "Computer Guy," and "Spelunker." "Broken" and "Hi-Lights" were animated by Kr3id.
The band has released four full-length albums: Red (2014), Neon (2016), Black Plastic (2019), and Ultraviolet (2024). The Ultraviolet album was funded by fans through the Kickstarter website. They also released two cover albums, Emulat0r (2017) and Emulated (2020). Savlonic has also released an EP named "Rosco" and several single songs. The Red, Neon, and Black Plastic albums were all funded by fans through Kickstarter.
Jonti Picking's Personal Life
Jonti Picking married Sarah Darling on 31 March 2007. Sarah is a radio presenter. On 13 July 2009, Jonti and Sarah welcomed their first child, a daughter. They also have a son, who was born on 2 June 2011.
