History of Joondanna
Joondanna Heights was the very first official town in the Perth Road District. This district is now known as the City of Stirling. Its boundaries were officially set on November 17, 1939.
The original boundaries included roads like Balcatta Beach Road. This road is now called North Beach Drive. Other boundaries were Main Street, Wanneroo Road, and what was then the edge of the City of Perth.
