Jordan Isaiah Howard, born on January 6, 1996, is a professional basketball player from Puerto Rico. He currently plays for the Ningbo Rockets in China. Before turning pro, he played college basketball at Central Arkansas. Jordan also plays for the Puerto Rico national basketball team.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Jordan Howard grew up in Chandler, Arizona. He went to Perry High School. His family loves sports! His dad, Chuck Howard, played college football. Jordan's older brother, Desmond, played basketball too. His younger brother, Markus Howard, became a top scorer in college and then a professional player.
College Career Highlights
Jordan chose to play college basketball at Central Arkansas. He quickly made a name for himself.
Freshman and Junior Year Success
As a freshman, he was named the Southland Freshman of the Year. This award goes to the best first-year player. In his junior year, he scored an average of 19.5 points per game. He even scored 35 points against UCLA in a big game. He made a three-point shot to send that game into overtime!
Senior Year Records
Jordan kept getting better in his senior year. He scored over 2,000 points in his college career. This is a huge achievement for any player. On January 10, 2018, he set a new record for Central Arkansas. He scored an amazing 41 points in one game! He averaged 25.8 points per game that season. This made him the third-highest scorer in all of Division I college basketball.
Jordan is also the all-time leader in three-point shots for the Southland Conference. At the end of his senior season, he was named the Southland Player of the Year. This means he was the best player in the entire conference! Jordan also did well in school. He was a Third Team Academic All-American and earned a degree in filmmaking.
Professional Basketball Journey
After college, Jordan Howard began his professional basketball career. He has played for many teams around the world.
Starting in the G League
In 2018, Jordan joined the Golden State Warriors for the NBA Summer League. He was then picked by the Santa Cruz Warriors in the G League draft. Later, he played for the Texas Legends and the Raptors 905 in the NBA G League. This league helps players get ready for the NBA.
Playing Around the World
Jordan then moved to play internationally. In 2019, he signed with the Goyang Orion Orions in South Korea. After that, he played for the Brujos de Guayama in Puerto Rico. He averaged 18.1 points and 4.1 assists per game there.
In 2021, he returned to the G League with the Mexico City Capitanes. He had a great game where he scored 38 points! He averaged 15.4 points per game, shooting 46 percent from three-point range.
European and Asian Teams
Jordan then played in Europe. In 2022, he joined SIG Strasbourg in France. Later that year, he signed with Napoli Basket in Italy. In 2023, he moved to Spain to play for Monbus Obradoiro.
In 2024, Jordan returned to Puerto Rico to play for the Osos de Manatí. Most recently, on September 15, 2024, he signed with the Ningbo Rockets in China.
Representing Puerto Rico
Jordan Howard is proud to represent Puerto Rico. He has played for the men's national basketball team. He helped his country in the qualifying rounds for the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
Personal Life
Jordan Howard has Puerto Rican family roots. His younger brother, Markus Howard, is also a professional basketball player. Markus plays for Saski Baskonia.
