José Carlos Adán Arias, born on July 22, 1967, in Vigo, Spain, is a retired long-distance runner. He was especially good at cross-country running, which involves running over natural terrain. He won two team bronze medals at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships. His best individual finish there was 18th place in 1995.
