Josa i Tuixén (pronounced "ZHO-sa ee too-SHEN") is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the beautiful region of Catalonia, Spain. It is nestled on the southern side of the Pyrenees mountains, specifically near the Serra del Cadí range. The main office for the town, known as the ajuntament (town hall), is found in the village of Tuixén. This area is a popular spot for Nordic skiing, which is a fun winter sport!

Josa i Tuixén is special because it is made up of two smaller villages. These two villages used to be separate towns until they joined together in 1973. Here are the villages and how many people lived in them in 2013:
