Josh Hagins (born March 17, 1994) is an American professional basketball player. He plays for Keravnos in the Cyprus Basketball Division 1. Before becoming a pro, he played college basketball for the Little Rock Trojans.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Josh Hagins was born in Washington, D.C.. His family was a military family. They lived in Little Rock, Arkansas for a while. Josh has an older brother named D.J. Berry.
Josh went to Airline High School in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was a star player there. He was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) for his district, city, and parish. Josh helped his team, the Vikings, win three district titles. He was also chosen as an All-State player. His team had a great record of 24 wins and 9 losses. They won two district championships and made it to the state quarterfinals.
College Basketball Career
Josh Hagins started playing college basketball in 2012. He joined the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Freshman and Sophomore Years
In his first year, Josh was third in points for his team. He led the team in assists. He played in 31 games and started 12 of them.
During his second year, Josh again led his team in assists. He was second in points and third in rebounds. He was one of the top players in his conference for assists and steals.
Junior Year Success
Josh had a fantastic junior year. He was named to the Third Team All-Sun Belt. This means he was one of the best players in the conference. He led his team in points and assists. He was also fourth in rebounds.
He scored double figures in 20 games that season. He also led his team with 93 assists and 52 steals.
Senior Year and NCAA Tournament
Josh's senior year was his best. He was the main offensive player for his team. He led the team in both points and assists. He was named to the All-Sun Belt First Team. This is a very high honor.
He helped his team win the Sun Belt tournament title. They beat UL Monroe 70–50 in the final game.
Little Rock then made it to the NCAA tournament in 2016. This was their first time there since 2011. They played against Purdue. Little Rock was losing by a lot of points. But Josh made a three-pointer to tie the game. This sent the game into overtime. Little Rock eventually won 85–83 after two overtimes. It was their first tournament win since 1986! Josh was one of only three players to score over 30 points against Purdue in the NCAA tournament.
Professional Basketball Journey
After college, Josh Hagins was not chosen in the 2016 NBA draft. But he still got a chance to play.
Early Professional Teams
In October 2016, he signed with KK Bosna Royal in Bosnia. He played 10 games there. In January 2017, he joined the Maine Red Claws in the NBA Development League.
In July 2020, Josh signed with Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany. In February 2021, he moved to Iraklis in Greece. He played well there, averaging 14 points per game.
Later in 2021, he signed with another Greek team, Peristeri. He then finished that season with Debreceni in Hungary. He averaged 11.7 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5 assists in 20 games.
In July 2022, Josh went back to Greece. He signed with Aris Thessaloniki. He played 19 games there. He averaged 7.3 points and 4.7 assists per game.
Recent Teams
On October 30, 2023, Josh joined the Ontario Clippers. This team is part of the NBA G League.
After the G League season ended in 2024, Josh signed with Al-Rayyan in Qatar. He then returned to Keravnos in Cyprus in 2024, where he plays today.
Personal Life
Josh Hagins has two brothers, D.J. Berry and Kerrick Larkin. He also has a sister named Kerita Larkin. Josh studied health science when he was in college at Little Rock.
