Josh Hagins (born March 17, 1994) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for Keravnos in the top basketball league of Cyprus. Before turning pro, Josh played college basketball for the Little Rock Trojans.

Early Life and High School Basketball
Josh Hagins was born in Washington, D.C.. His family moved around because his father was in the military. They lived in Little Rock, Arkansas for a while.
Josh attended Airline High School in Bossier City, Louisiana. He was a star player there, earning titles like District, City, and Parish MVP. He helped his team, the Vikings, win three district championships. Josh was also chosen for the All-State team. In his senior year, he led the Vikings to a 24-9 record and reached the state quarterfinals.
College Career Highlights
Josh Hagins started playing college basketball at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2012. He quickly became an important player for the Little Rock Trojans.
Freshman and Sophomore Years
In his first year, Josh was third in points for his team. He led the team in assists, which are passes that lead directly to a score. He played in 31 games, starting 12 of them.
During his second year, Josh continued to improve. He led his team in assists again and was second in points. He was also good at getting rebounds and steals.
Junior Year Success
Josh had a fantastic junior year. He was named to the Third-Team All-Sun Belt. This time, he led his team in both points and assists. He was also fourth in rebounds.
He scored double figures (10 or more points) in 20 games that season. Josh also had a career-high 52 steals, showing his defensive skills.
Senior Year and NCAA Tournament
Josh's senior year was his best. He was the main offensive player for his team, leading in points and assists. He earned First-Team All-Sun Belt honors, which is a big achievement.
He led the Little Rock Trojans to win the Sun Belt tournament title. This win helped them get into the 2016 NCAA tournament. It was their first time in the NCAA tournament since 2011.
In the first round of the NCAA tournament, Little Rock played against Big Ten's Purdue. Little Rock was losing by 13 points with only a few minutes left. Josh Hagins made an amazing three-point shot to tie the game and send it into overtime. The Trojans then won the game 85-83 in double overtime! This was their first tournament win since 1986. Josh scored over 30 points in that game, a rare feat against Purdue in the NCAA tournament.
Professional Basketball Journey
After college, Josh Hagins began his professional basketball career. He joined the Sacramento Kings for the 2016 NBA Summer League.
Early Professional Teams
In 2016, Josh signed with KK Bosna Royal in Bosnia. He then played for the Maine Red Claws in the NBA Development League in 2017. Later, he joined the Reno Bighorns.
Playing in Europe
From 2018 to 2020, Josh played for Keravnos in Cyprus. He helped them win the Cypriot League, Cypriot Cup, and Cypriot Super Cup in 2019. He was also named a Cypriot League All-Star twice.
He then played for Telekom Baskets Bonn in Germany (2020-2021) and Iraklis in Greece (2021). He also played for Peristeri, another Greek team, and Debrecen in Hungary. In 2022, he returned to Greece to play for Aris Thessaloniki.
Recent Teams
In 2023, Josh joined the Ontario Clippers in the NBA G League. After that season, he signed with Al-Rayyan in Qatar. In 2024, he returned to Keravnos in Cyprus, where he plays now.
Personal Life
Josh Hagins has two brothers, D.J. Berry and Kerrick Larkin, and a sister, Kerita Larkin. When he was in college at Little Rock, he studied health science.
