Josh Hill (born 19 January 1989) is a talented former professional Australian rules football player. He played for two big teams, the Western Bulldogs and the West Coast Eagles, in Australia's top league, the Australian Football League (AFL).

Playing Career Highlights
Josh Hill grew up in Broome, a town in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. He later moved to Perth to attend Trinity College.
Starting with the Western Bulldogs
Josh was chosen by the Western Bulldogs in the 2006 National Draft. He was the 61st player picked overall. He made his first AFL appearance in 2007. This was during Round 17 of the 2007 season. His first game was against the West Coast Eagles.
In 2008, Josh was recognized as a Rising Star nominee. This award goes to young players who show great talent. During the 2009 season, he played in 23 games. He kicked 33 goals as a forward player. He played as a half-forward flanker and forward pocket.
Josh faced some challenges in the 2010 and 2011 seasons. He played 24 games across these two years. He kicked 26 goals during this time.
Moving to the West Coast Eagles
In October 2011, Josh moved to the West Coast Eagles. This happened through a player trade. He played his first game for West Coast in Round 1 of the 2012 season. He started strong by scoring three goals in that game. He also kicked three goals in his second game for the Eagles. This was against the Melbourne Demons.
Josh played for the West Coast Eagles until the end of the 2017 season. After that, he was no longer part of the team.
Family Connections
Josh Hill has family members who also play professional football. He is the second cousin of Stephen Hill. Stephen played for the Fremantle Dockers. He is also the second cousin of Bradley Hill. Bradley plays for the St Kilda Saints.
In November 2021, Josh Hill married his fiance, Jo Duffy. They had a small private ceremony.
