Josue Wildor Paul (born November 14, 1988) is an American former gridiron football player. He played as a wide receiver, which means he caught passes from the quarterback. He was also a return specialist and a running back.
Josue Paul was chosen by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2011 NFL draft. He played college football at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). Throughout his career, he also played for teams like the Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, Milwaukee Mustangs, Iowa Barnstormers, Calgary Stampeders, and Green Bay Packers.

Early Life and Sports
Josue Paul loved playing many different sports when he was young. He started playing football at age six. He quickly became very serious about it, hoping to make it his career.
He went to Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton, Florida. He graduated in 2007. Josue was a great student and was involved in many school activities. He played football, basketball, and ran track. He was also part of the Five Thousand Role Models of Excellence Program. In high school, he earned awards like second-team all-county and third-team all-state. He was also named his team's most improved player.
College Football Journey
In 2007, Josue Paul decided to attend Central Connecticut State University. When he started college, he was the main player for kickoff returns. He also played a little bit as a wide receiver. By his final year, he was a top wide receiver for his team.
- 2007 Season: As a freshman, he averaged 21.9 yards on kickoff returns. He also caught two passes for 29 yards and scored a touchdown. He had an amazing 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in a game against Southern Connecticut.
- 2008 Season: Paul averaged 20.3 yards on returns. He caught 23 passes for 372 yards and scored one touchdown. He also had an 86-yard touchdown return against Robert Morris.
- 2009 Season: He was chosen for the First-team All-Conference. He led his team with 55 catches for 1,036 yards and five touchdowns. He averaged 15.2 yards for each catch. On returns, he averaged 23 yards and had another 95-yard touchdown return against Robert Morris.
- 2010 Season: Josue Paul was named Preseason All-Conference. However, his season was cut short because of an injury. Before his injury, he had 19 catches for 498 yards and five touchdowns.

Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs signed Josue Paul on July 26, 2011. He signed a three-year contract worth $1.39 million. This included a bonus of $80,000.
The Chiefs later released Paul on September 3, 2011. After that, he joined the Chiefs' practice squad. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but are not on the main roster.
Indianapolis Colts
Josue Paul was signed to the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts on December 16, 2011. On January 19, 2012, he signed a special contract called a "reserve future contract." This meant he would be part of the team for the next season.
Milwaukee Mustangs

On February 2, 2015, the Green Bay Packers announced they had signed Paul. He signed a three-year contract worth $1.575 million. Only $25,000 of this contract was guaranteed for 2015. He did not receive a signing bonus.
On September 5, 2015, the Green Bay Packers decided to cut Paul from the team. The next day, on September 6, he signed with the Packers' practice squad. After the season ended, the Packers did not sign him to a future/reserve contract. He became a free agent on January 12, 2016. This meant he was free to sign with any team.
After Football
After his professional football career, Josue Paul decided to work in exercise science. In 2013, Paul and his friend Jeff Logan started a new fitness business. Jeff Logan was a bodybuilder and a former teammate of Josue at Central Connecticut State University.
Their gym is called Become Fitness. They planned to launch it in the summer of 2014. Paul and Logan were very excited to start something they had dreamed about since they were college teammates.
