Josue Wildor Paul, born on November 14, 1988, is a former American football player. He was a wide receiver, catching passes for his team. The Kansas City Chiefs picked him in the 2011 NFL draft. He played college football at Central Connecticut State University (CCSU). Josue also played for many other teams, including the Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills, Denver Broncos, and Green Bay Packers.

Early Life and High School Sports

Josue Paul loved playing many sports when he was young. He started playing football at age 6. He quickly became serious about it. He wanted to make football his career.

Josue went to Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton, Florida. He graduated in 2007. He was a great student and very involved in school. He played football, basketball, and ran track. He was also part of a special program called Five Thousand Role Models of Excellence. In high school, he earned awards like second-team all-county. He was also named his team's most improved player.

College Football Journey

In 2007, Josue Paul decided to play for Central Connecticut State University. When he started college, he was mainly a returner. This means he would catch kicks and try to run them back. He also played a little bit as a wide receiver. By his senior year, he was the main wide receiver for his team.

• 2007: In his first year, he returned kickoffs for an average of 21.9 yards. He also caught two passes for 29 yards and scored a touchdown. He even had a 95-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in a game against Southern Connecticut.
• 2008: Josue averaged 20.3 yards on kick returns. He caught 23 passes for 372 yards and scored one touchdown. He also had an 86-yard touchdown return against Robert Morris.
• 2009: This was a big year for Josue. He was chosen for the First-team All-Conference. He led his team with 55 catches for 1,036 yards. He scored five touchdowns and averaged 15.2 yards per catch. On returns, he averaged 23 yards. He had another 95-yard touchdown return against Robert Morris.
• 2010: Josue was expected to have another great year. But an injury cut his season short. Before his injury, he had 19 catches for 498 yards and five touchdowns.

Professional Football Career

After college, Josue Paul continued his football dream. He played for several teams in different leagues.

Joining the Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs signed Josue Paul in July 2011. He signed a three-year contract with them. However, the Chiefs later decided to release him. He then joined their practice squad.

Playing for the Indianapolis Colts

In December 2011, Josue was signed to the practice squad of the Indianapolis Colts. A practice squad is where players train with the team but aren't on the main roster yet.

Time with the Milwaukee Mustangs

Josue also played in the Arena Football League (AFL). He joined the Milwaukee Mustangs in November 2011. During the 2012 season, he caught 18 passes for 269 yards. He also scored five touchdowns for the Mustangs.

With the Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos signed Josue to their practice squad in September 2012. He stayed with them for a while before being released in August 2013.

Playing for the Iowa Barnstormers

Josue was assigned to the Iowa Barnstormers in February 2013. He was on and off their roster during that year.

Joining the Calgary Stampeders

Josue then moved to Canadian football. He signed with the Calgary Stampeders in May 2013. He played with them for about a year.

Time with the Green Bay Packers

In February 2015, the Green Bay Packers signed Josue Paul. He signed a three-year contract with them. However, the Packers decided to cut him from the main team in September 2015. He then joined their practice squad again. After the season, he became a free agent, meaning he could sign with any team.

Life After Football

After his football career, Josue Paul decided to work in exercise science. In 2013, he teamed up with Jeff Logan. Jeff was a bodybuilder and a former teammate from college. They started a new fitness business together called Become Fitness. They were very excited to launch their gym. It was a dream they had since they played football together in college.
