Juarez is a small community in Cameron County, Texas, in the United States. It is known as a census-designated place (CDP). This means it's an area that the government counts as a town for population statistics, even if it doesn't have its own official city government. In 2010, about 1,017 people lived there. Before 2010, Juarez was part of a larger CDP called Las Palmas-Juarez. It is also part of the bigger Brownsville–Harlingen area, which is a group of cities and towns that are close together.

Where is Juarez Located?

Juarez is found in the western part of Cameron County. It shares its borders with the city of Harlingen to the north and east. To the west, it borders another community called Las Palmas.

The United States Census Bureau says that Juarez covers a total area of about 0.5 square kilometers (which is about 0.2 square miles). All of this area is land, with no water bodies like lakes or rivers.
