His Political Career
Julen Bollain was a member of a political party called Podemos. He joined the party when it first started and stayed until February 2020. He was also chosen by the party members to be the leader of Podemos in his hometown of Éibar.
In 2016, he ran in an election for the Basque Parliament. He won a seat and became a Member of Parliament (MP). He was the youngest MP in that group of lawmakers. In the Parliament, he was the main spokesperson for economic issues. He also led the Health Committee, which deals with health-related laws and policies.
