- Miss Julie (played by Julie Andrews) – She is the director of the Wellspring Center for the Performing Arts. Miss Julie teaches performing arts in her theater and a special "greenroom."
- Gus (played by Giullian Yao Gioiello) – Gus is Miss Julie's helpful assistant. He also used to be a student in the Greenies workshop.
The Greenies (Puppets)
The Greenies are a group of curious kids who love learning about all kinds of art and creativity. These puppets were created by The Jim Henson Company.
- Hugo the Duck (performed by Tyler Bunch) – He is a friendly duck who is part of the group.
- Hank (performed by John Tartaglia) – Hank is a Greenie who uses a wheelchair. He is always ready to learn.
- Penelope Guadalupe Fitzgerald Sanchez (Fizz) (performed by Dorien Davies) – Fizz is another enthusiastic member of the Greenies.
- Peri (performed by Stephanie D'Abruzzo) – Peri loves to show off and dreams of becoming a famous singer and actress.
- Riley (performed by Jennifer Barnhart) – Riley is a Greenie who doesn't identify as only a boy or a girl. They enjoy acting and are also good at fixing things as an aspiring mechanic.
- Spike (performed by Frankie Cordero) – Spike is Hank's friend. He really enjoys words and making rhymes.
- Toby the Dog (performed by John Kennedy) – Toby is a cute dog who joins the Greenies' adventures.
How the Show Was Made
Julie's Greenroom stars the famous actress Julie Andrews. You might know her from movies like The Sound of Music and Mary Poppins. She works with her assistant Gus and the Greenies.
Each episode includes fun parts of performing arts, like an original song. A special guest star joins the puppets to teach them about a specific art form. These guests include amazing artists like Alec Baldwin, Sara Bareilles, Joshua Bell, Carol Burnett, Chris Colfer, Josh Groban, Idina Menzel, and the percussion group Stomp.
