Contents
How to Play: Missions and Locations
The game takes you to different places where you complete missions and solve puzzles. Each area has unique challenges that help you learn.
Spy Headquarters (HQ)
After finishing a mission, you'll return to the Spy Headquarters, or HQ. This is your home base.
- Lab: In the Lab, you connect different molecules that have words on them. You need to organize these words based on their type, like whether they are a noun, a verb, or an adjective.
- Spy Masters Online: This is a special online game where you work with a team to try and capture a flag from the other team.
Adventure Valley Challenges
Adventure Valley is full of different places where the Prankster has caused trouble.
- Dell's: At this fast-food restaurant, you need to add the correct amount of mustard to three blenders. It's a test of measurement and precision!
- Recording Studio: Here, you guide musical instruments to touch the right letters to spell out a specific word. It's all about spelling and quick thinking.
- Software Company: In this area, you must quickly find words that are related to a main word shown at the top of the screen before time runs out.
- Robot Factory: Your task here is to sort computer chips, each with a word on it. You need to arrange them to get four chips in a row. Once you have enough "data," you win!
- Clock Tower: This area is similar to the Recording Studio, focusing on spelling words by moving objects.
- Airport: Like the Software Company, this challenge tests your vocabulary and speed as you find related words.
- Power Plant: This area is very much like the Lab, where you connect words based on their categories.
Ancient Ruins Mysteries
The Ancient Ruins hold old secrets and new challenges.
- Library: In the Library, you look at pictures and figure out what they mean, then change them into words. It's a fun way to build your vocabulary.
- Map Room: This place is similar to the Robot Factory, where you sort items to create lines of four.
Abandoned Amusement Park Fun
Even an old amusement park can be a place for spy missions!
- Puzzle Fun House: This area is just like the Library, where you decode pictures into words.
- Octopus Ride: This challenge is similar to Dell's, but instead of mustard, you get to shoot cannonballs!
Special Access Areas
Some areas can only be reached using a jet pack or during specific parts of a mission.
- Training Area: You can only visit this area, which is near the ocean, during your pre-mission training.
Meet the Characters
You'll meet a team of brave adventurers and face off against a tricky villain.
The Adventurers
These are the heroes you'll be working with to stop the Prankster.
- Botley: Botley is a smart robot, also known as AndroidXL2. He's been in other JumpStart games like JumpStart Adventures 3rd Grade: Mystery Mountain. In this game, Botley sounds a bit older and wiser.
- T.J.: Thomas James Adams, or T.J., is the newest member of the Adventurers. He's from JumpStart Adventures 4th Grade: Sapphire Falls and is always very excited about missions.
- Sally: Sally Chu is another character from JumpStart Adventures 4th Grade: Sapphire Falls. In this game, her hair is styled a bit differently.
- Jo: Jo Hammet, from JumpStart Adventures 5th Grade: Jo Hammet, Kid Detective, loves activities like skateboarding and rollerblading.
- Zack: Zack is from JumpStart Adventures 6th Grade: Mission Earthquest. In this game, he wears a T-shirt instead of his usual sweater.
- Jess: Jess is Zack's sister and also from JumpStart Adventures 6th Grade: Mission Earthquest. Her hair is black in this game.
The Villain
Every spy game needs a villain, and here's yours!
- Max Masters/Prankster: Max used to be the youngest Adventurer, but he was removed from the team. Now, he's the Prankster, playing tricks and trying to get back at the Adventurers. He even tries to get revenge in the game's sequel!
