June Florence Foulds (born 13 June 1934 – died November 2020) was a famous British track and field runner. She was known for her amazing speed in sprint races.

June was married to Raymond Paul, who was also an Olympic athlete. He was a fencer for Great Britain. She passed away at the age of 86.

June Foulds: A Sprinting Star

June Foulds was a very talented athlete. She competed in sprint events like the 100 metres and 200 metres. She was also a key part of relay teams. Relay races involve four runners, each running a part of the total distance.

Olympic Achievements

June represented Great Britain in two Olympic Games. These are the biggest sports events in the world.

  • At the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland, June won a bronze medal. This was for the 4 × 100 metres relay race.
