The Junior Field Trips series is a group of three exciting computer games made by Humongous Entertainment and Random House. These games let you go on virtual tours of different places, like a farm, an airport, or a jungle!

Each game also includes fun activities. You can find virtual coloring pages, go on a scavenger hunt, and play other mini-games. The games were first released for Windows and Macintosh computers. Later, you could also play them on Steam starting in 2015.

A friendly blue bug named "Buzzy the Knowledge Bug" guides you through each adventure. He tells you interesting facts about the places you visit and helps you learn.

Explore the Games!

The Junior Field Trips series has three main games, each taking you to a unique location to learn and play.

Let's Explore the Farm

This game was first released in 1994. An updated version came out in 1995 with new features and mini-games. In Let's Explore the Farm, you get to visit a busy farm. You can explore the barn, meet the animals, and see how crops grow.

You'll discover different parts of the farm, like the farmhouse, fields, an orchard, a chicken coop, and a duck pond. You can even learn how to milk a cow, collect eggs, or harvest corn! The game also has fact sheets about all the farm animals, plants, and equipment. Fun mini-games include trivia, spelling quizzes, a coloring book, and an egg-catching game.

Let's Explore the Airport

Released in 1995, Let's Explore the Airport lets you discover how an airport works. You can explore different parts of the airport and even go inside an airplane!

Other areas you can visit include the airfield, where planes take off and land, a seaplane dock, and a helipad. The game shows you all the real-life steps and services that happen at an airport. You'll find fact sheets with diagrams that teach you about aircraft, airport staff, and machines. Mini-games include trivia, object quizzes, finding hidden objects, a coloring book, and a lost luggage game.

Let's Explore the Jungle

Also released in 1995, Let's Explore the Jungle takes you on an adventure into different types of rainforests. You'll visit jungles in South America, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

You can learn amazing facts about different animals and their behaviors, as well as unique plants and geographical features. The mini-games in this adventure include trivia, letter jumble puzzles, object finding, a coloring book, and even an anteater feeding game!
