Alvin Earl "Junior" Moore, born on January 25, 1953, is a former American professional player. He played in the Major Leagues for five seasons. Junior was a versatile player, often playing as a third baseman or an outfielder. He played for the Atlanta Braves from 1976 to 1977 and the Chicago White Sox from 1978 to 1980. Junior Moore batted and threw with his right hand. He was about 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighed around 185 pounds.

Junior Moore's Baseball Journey
Junior Moore started his baseball career after finishing high school. The Atlanta Braves picked him in the 1971 Major League Baseball Draft. This meant they wanted him to play for their team.
Starting in the Minor Leagues
Before reaching the big leagues, Junior spent six seasons playing in minor league baseball. These are teams where players develop their skills. He played for teams like the Richmond Braves, which was a Triple-A team. Triple-A is the highest level in the minor leagues, just below the Major Leagues.
Major League Debut
Junior Moore made his first appearance in the Major Leagues on August 2, 1976. He played for the Atlanta Braves as a third baseman. This was a big moment, playing against the San Diego Padres.
