Kenneth Todd Freeman (born July 9, 1965) is an American actor who has performed on stage, in movies, and on television. He is known for his roles as Mr. Trick in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the banker Mr. Poe in the Netflix series A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Over his long career, Freeman has received two nominations for the Tony Award, which is one of the highest honors in theater. He has also won a Drama Desk Award for his acting.

Early Life and Education
K. Todd Freeman was born in Houston, Texas. As a teenager, he attended the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, a special school for students interested in the arts. After high school, he continued his studies at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, graduating in 1987 with a degree in fine arts.
Acting Career
Freeman has had a successful career in theater, film, and television. He is skilled at playing a wide variety of characters.
Theater Work
Since 1993, Freeman has been a member of the famous Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago, Illinois. This group is known for its powerful and exciting plays.
In the same year he joined Steppenwolf, Freeman starred in a Broadway play called The Song of Jacob Zulu. His performance was so impressive that he was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play.
Later, he played the role of Doctor Dillamond in the popular musical Wicked. He performed in the show's national tour, as well as in Chicago and on Broadway in New York City.
