Kader Sylla is an American professional skateboarder. He was born in 2002 in Woodland Hills, California. Kader is known for his "goofy-footed" style. This means he rides with his right foot at the front of the skateboard.

Early Life and First Skateboard
Kader Sylla grew up in Encino, California. This is a neighborhood in Los Angeles. He first became interested in skateboarding when he was very young. He started by playing with fingerboards. When he was 6 years old, his grandma bought him his first real skateboard. She got it from a local CVS store.
Kader learned how to skateboard by watching videos online. He used YouTube tutorials to get better at tricks. Some of his biggest inspirations in skateboarding were Rowan Zorilla, Torey Pudwill, and Ryan Sheckler.
Kader's Skateboarding Journey
Kader Sylla joined Baker Skateboards as an amateur in 2016. The owner of the company, Andrew Reynolds, first noticed his talent. Since then, Kader has shown off his skills at many skate events for the Baker team.
In late 2017, Kader signed with Emerica shoes. He later switched to Vans in 2018. With Vans, he released several special skate shoes. Kader then left Vans in late 2020. He soon became sponsored by Nike Skateboarding. After a short time with Nike, Kader changed his shoe sponsor again. He then joined Adidas.
In 2019, when Kader was 16 years old, he became a professional skateboarder for Baker Skateboards. In the same year, Kader also joined the Supreme skate team.
Kader is also part of a skateboarding group called Carcasscrew. This group includes several skaters who are recognized by different skateboard deck brands. Other members of Carcasscrew are Andrew Reynolds, his daughter Stella Reynolds, Jay Thorpe, and Kevin Long. Kader himself came up with the name for this skate crew.
