Kadoka is a small city in South Dakota, United States. It is the main town in Jackson County. In 2020, about 543 people lived there. Kadoka is known as the "Gateway To The Badlands" because it's close to the famous Badlands National Park.

History of Kadoka
Kadoka got its start in 1906. This was when the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad built its tracks to this spot. The town was chosen as the county seat for the new Jackson County in 1915.
Geography and Climate
Kadoka covers about 2.3 square miles (5.9 square kilometers). Most of this area is land. Only a small part is water.
