Kapri Lashaw Bibbs (born January 10, 1993) is a former American football player. He played as a running back, which is a player who primarily runs with the ball. Kapri played college football at Colorado State. After college, he joined the NFL. He played for several teams, including the Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers, Washington Redskins, and Green Bay Packers.

Early Life and High School Football
Kapri Bibbs grew up in Harvey, Illinois. He went to Plainfield North High School in Plainfield, Illinois. While there, he played high school football for the Plainfield North Tigers team.
College Football Career
Bibbs first attended Snow College in 2011. He then went to Front Range Community College in 2012. Before the 2013 season, he transferred to Colorado State University.
In his only season at Colorado State, he had an amazing year. He rushed for a school record of 1,741 yards. He also scored 30 touchdowns in that season. This made him one of only a few players in NCAA history to rush for 30 touchdowns in a single season. His performance put him among the top rushers in the Mountain West Conference.
After his sophomore season, Bibbs decided to enter the 2014 NFL draft.
Professional Football Journey
Kapri Bibbs was not chosen in the 2014 NFL Draft. However, he was signed by the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent. This means a team signed him even though he wasn't picked in the draft.
Playing for the Denver Broncos
For the 2014 season, Bibbs was signed to the Broncos' practice squad. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but don't play in games unless they are moved to the main roster. He was released in November but later re-signed to the practice squad.
In 2015, Bibbs was again on the practice squad. He was moved to the active roster in October after another player got injured. He was active for one game but did not get to carry the ball. He was released again but quickly re-signed to the practice squad.
On February 7, 2016, Kapri Bibbs was part of the Broncos team that won Super Bowl 50. They defeated the Carolina Panthers 24–10. This was a huge achievement for him and the team.
On November 6, 2016, Bibbs made a big play on Sunday Night Football. He caught a pass and ran 69 yards for his first career touchdown. This was against the Oakland Raiders. Later, he got a high ankle sprain and was placed on injured reserve. This means he couldn't play for the rest of the season. He finished the 2016 season with 129 rushing yards and one receiving touchdown.
Time with the San Francisco 49ers
On April 29, 2017, the Broncos traded Bibbs to the San Francisco 49ers. He was traded along with a draft pick. However, he was waived (released) by the 49ers on September 1, 2017.
Joining the Washington Redskins
On November 24, 2017, Bibbs was signed to the Washington Redskins' practice squad. He was promoted to the active roster in December. In his first game as a Redskin, he caught a pass and ran for a 36-yard touchdown. This was against the Arizona Cardinals. He ended the 2017 season with 79 rushing yards and one receiving touchdown.
On September 1, 2018, Bibbs was waived by the Redskins again. But he signed back to their practice squad the next day. He was promoted to the active roster on September 22, 2018. In Week 5, he scored his first rushing touchdown as a Redskin. He was waived again on December 15, 2018.
Playing for the Green Bay Packers
On December 17, 2018, the Green Bay Packers claimed Bibbs off waivers. This means they picked him up after he was released by another team. He joined them after another player, Aaron Jones, got a knee injury. Bibbs played in two games for the Packers to finish the season.
By the end of the 2018 season, Kapri Bibbs had played in 27 NFL games. He had a total of 311 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. He also had 32 catches for 318 receiving yards and 3 receiving touchdowns.
On June 14, 2019, Bibbs was released by the Packers.
