Kashiba (香芝市, Kashiba-shi) is a city found in Nara Prefecture, Japan. It's a modern city that was officially started on October 1, 1991.
As of November 2023, Kashiba is home to about 78,636 people. These people live in roughly 32,867 homes. The city is quite busy, with about 3,245 people living in each square kilometer. The total size of Kashiba is 24.23 square kilometers.
Education in Kashiba
Kashiba has many schools for young people. There are 10 public elementary schools in the city. Each of these schools also has its own kindergarten, which is a school for very young children, usually before elementary school. However, one school, Mami Nishi, does not have a separate kindergarten.
- Osaka Shoin Women's Junior College is also located here. It offers higher education.

It's easy to travel in and out of Kashiba thanks to its good transportation system.
Train Travel
You can get around Kashiba by train using two main railway companies:
- West Japan Railway Company (JR)
- The Wakayama Line has stops at Shizumi Station, Kashiba Station, and JR Goidō Station.
- Kintetsu Railway
- The Osaka Line stops at Sekiya Station, Nijō Station, Kintetsu Shimoda Station, and Goidō Station.
- The Minami Osaka Line has a stop at Nijōzan Station.
