Kathleen Bradley is an American model, singer, and actress. Many people know her as a "Barker's Beauty" on the TV game show The Price Is Right. She was on the show from 1990 to 2000. She was also the first permanent African American model to be a regular on the show.

Kathleen Bradley's Early Life and Career

Kathleen Bradley was born in Girard, Ohio. She was the only girl in her family, with three brothers.

In 1971, she won the "Miss Black California" award. In the 1970s, she was part of two disco music groups. These groups were called The Love Machine and Destination.

Later, she became known for her acting. She played Mrs. Parker in the 1995 movie Friday.

Leaving The Price Is Right

Kathleen Bradley and another longtime model, Janice Pennington, left The Price Is Right in December 2000. This happened after they gave testimony in a lawsuit. The show's host, Bob Barker, had sued another model, Holly Hallstrom.

Barker lost his lawsuit against Hallstrom. Bradley said she and Pennington were let go because of their testimony. They later reached a financial agreement. Barker said their leaving was due to changes in the show's ownership. He also said he appreciated Pennington's testimony.

In June 2014, Bradley wrote a book about her experiences. It is called Backstage at The Price Is Right: Memoirs of a Barker Beauty.

Kathleen Bradley has been married two times. Her first marriage was to actor Bill Overton. They were married from 1980 to 1984.

Since 1988, she has been married to Terrence Redd, who is a mechanical engineer. Kathleen has two children. Her daughter, Cheyenne Overton, is from her first marriage. Her son, Terrence Redd II, is with Terrence Redd. Her stepdaughter, Dior, is from Terrence Redd's previous marriage to actress Bern Nadette Stanis.
