Kathleen Bradley is an American model, singer, and actress. Many people know her as a "Barker's Beauty" from the TV game show The Price Is Right. She was on the show from 1990 to 2000. She was also the first permanent African American model to appear on the show.

Kathleen Bradley's Early Life and Career

Kathleen Bradley was born in Girard, Ohio. Her parents were Albert and Winifred Bradley. She was the only girl among four children.

In 1971, she won the "Miss Black California" award. During the 1970s, she was part of two short-lived disco music groups. These groups were called The Love Machine and Destination. Later, in 1995, she played the role of Mrs. Parker in the movie Friday.

Leaving The Price Is Right

Kathleen Bradley stopped being a model on The Price Is Right on October 19, 2000. Another long-time model, Janice Pennington, also left at the same time. This happened after they had given their statements in a legal case. The host, Bob Barker, had filed a lawsuit against another model, Holly Hallstrom.

Kathleen Bradley's last episode on the show aired on December 13, 2000. Bob Barker did not win his lawsuit against Holly Hallstrom. Bradley said that she and Pennington were let go because of their statements in that case. They later reached an agreement for money instead of filing their own lawsuit. Barker said that Bradley's claim was not true. He stated that the changes were due to a new owner taking over. He also said he appreciated Pennington's statements.

In June 2014, Kathleen Bradley wrote a book about her experiences. It was called Backstage at The Price Is Right: Memoirs of a Barker Beauty.

Kathleen Bradley has been married two times. Her first marriage was to actor Bill Overton. They were married from 1980 to 1984.

Since 1988, she has been married to Terrence Redd, who is a mechanical engineer. Kathleen has two children. Her daughter, Cheyenne Overton, is from her first marriage. Her son, Terrence Redd II, is with her current husband. Terrence Redd also has a stepdaughter named Dior. Dior's mother is actress Bern Nadette Stanis.
