KeAndre Bates (born May 24, 1996) is an American track and field athlete. He is known for his amazing skills in the triple jump and long jump. KeAndre has achieved a personal best of 17.16 m (56 ft 3.46555119 in) in the triple jump and 8.32 m (27 ft 3.43405512 in) in the long jump.

He is a very successful athlete, having won three NCAA championships. He has also been named an All-American 14 times, which means he was one of the best college athletes in the United States. KeAndre also won three championships in the SEC, a major college sports league. He has proudly represented the  United States in several international competitions. These include the 2013 World Youth Championships in Athletics, the 2015 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships, and the 2018 NACAC Championships.

KeAndre's Athletic Journey

KeAndre Bates became one of the world's top triple jumpers even before he finished college. He earned many honors as a student athlete. He received a special athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida. There, he competed for the famous Florida Gators men's track and field team.

Major Achievements and Medals

KeAndre has won many medals and placed high in important competitions. Here are some of his most notable achievements:

  • In 2018, he won a bronze medal in the triple jump at the 2018 NACAC Championships in Toronto, Canada.
  • He also took home a bronze medal in the triple jump at the 2018 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Des Moines, Iowa.
  • In 2017, KeAndre had a fantastic year, winning two gold medals at the 2017 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Oregon. He won both the triple jump and the long jump!
  • He also won gold in both the triple jump and long jump at the 2017 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships.
  • At the 2016 NACAC Under-23 Championships in Athletics in El Salvador, he earned a bronze medal in the long jump.
  • In 2015, he won a bronze medal in the long jump at the 2015 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships in Edmonton, Canada.
  • He also won a gold medal in the long jump at the US Junior U 20 Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
  • In 2013, he won a gold medal in the triple jump at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships.

KeAndre Bates was born on May 24, 1996, in Temple, Texas, in the United States. He went to Burges High School until 2014. While in high school, he was a talented two-sport athlete, playing both football and track and field. He was part of the University Interscholastic League Texas 4A. After high school, he decided to focus on track and field and joined the Florida Gators track and field team.
