KeAndre Bates (born May 24, 1996) is an American track and field athlete. He is known for his amazing skills in the triple jump and long jump. KeAndre has achieved personal bests of 17.16 meters in the triple jump and 8.32 meters in the long jump. He was a very successful college athlete. He won three NCAA championships and was named an All-American 14 times. He also won three championships in the SEC. KeAndre has proudly represented the  United States in several international competitions. These include the 2013 World Youth Championships in Athletics, the 2015 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships, the 2016 NACAC Under-23 Championships, and the 2018 NACAC Championships.

KeAndre Bates's Athletic Journey

KeAndre Bates became one of the world's top triple jumpers even before he finished college. He earned 14 NCAA Division 1 All-American honors while he was a student athlete. He received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of Florida. There, he competed for the Florida Gators men's track and field team.

College Achievements

KeAndre had a fantastic college career. He won many important events.

2017 NCAA Championships

In 2017, KeAndre had an incredible year at the 2017 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. He won first place in both the triple jump and the long jump. This made him a double NCAA champion! He also placed 11th in the 4 × 100 meter relay.

At the 2017 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships, he continued his winning streak. He took first place in the long jump and second place in the triple jump.

SEC Championships

KeAndre also shined at the SEC Championships. In 2017, he won first place in both the triple jump and long jump at the SEC Indoor Championships. He also won the triple jump and placed second in the long jump at the SEC Outdoor Championships.

In 2018, he earned third place in the triple jump and fourth in the long jump at the SEC Outdoor Championships. He also took third in the triple jump and seventh in the long jump at the SEC Indoor Championships.

KeAndre has represented the United States on the world stage.

2018 NACAC Championships

In 2018, KeAndre won a bronze medal in the triple jump at the 2018 NACAC Championships in Toronto, Canada.

2016 NACAC Under-23 Championships

In 2016, he earned a silver medal in the long jump at the 2016 NACAC Under-23 Championships in Athletics in San Salvador, El Salvador.

2015 Pan American Junior Championships

KeAndre won a bronze medal in the long jump at the 2015 Pan American Junior Athletics Championships in Edmonton, Alberta.

2013 World Youth Championships

He competed in the 2013 World Youth Championships in Athletics in Donetsk, Ukraine, placing ninth in the triple jump.

KeAndre Bates was born in Temple, Texas, in the United States. He went to Burges High School until 2014. While in high school, he was a two-sport athlete, playing both football and Track and Field. After high school, he decided to focus on track and field and joined the Florida Gators track and field team.
