Keasbey (say "KAYS-bee") is a small community in New Jersey. It's not a full town, but a special area called a "census-designated place" (CDP). This means the government counts its population. Keasbey is part of Woodbridge Township in Middlesex County. It's near the city of Perth Amboy. In 2020, about 3,027 people lived here. Many families have moved to Keasbey from Perth Amboy.
Long ago, Keasbey was called Florida Grove. People liked to visit its picnic areas and beaches. These spots were located along the Raritan River. The community is named after the Keasbey family. Their old home in Morristown is now a museum. The Keasbey family also owned a brick factory in the area.
