Annagjid "Kee" Taylor is an American hair stylist, business owner, and YouTuber. She is best known for owning the Deeper Than Hair salon. She also runs the popular YouTube channel Deeper Than Hair TV. This channel has over 1.3 million subscribers. Kee is a hair stylist for many famous people. She is also the CEO of her own hair care product line, also called Deeper Than Hair.

Kee Taylor's Journey and Career
Kee Taylor grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She started her career as a teenager in the mid-1990s. She began by braiding hair from her mother's basement. Later, she became a stylist for celebrities. At the same time, she worked four days a week at a salon called Philly Cuts in West Philadelphia. In 2012, Kee started using social media to promote her business. She offered a special deal on Instagram for hair extensions. This was very successful and made her think about opening her own salon.
Opening Deeper Than Hair
Kee opened her salon, Deeper Than Hair, in April 2013. It is also located in West Philadelphia. She chose the name because she believes hair care is an art. Her salon specializes in taking care of natural afro-textured hair. Kee is well-known for styling natural hair into straight looks. Moving to Los Angeles and Celebrity Clients
Kee moved to North Hollywood, Los Angeles in 2017. There, she works as a celebrity stylist on TV shows. One show she has worked on is The Haves and the Have Nots. Her celebrity clients include famous people like Estelle, Tika Sumpter, Amber Riley, Nafessa Williams, and Keke Palmer. To show how beautiful afro-textured hair is, Kee published a children's book in 2019. The book is called All Hair Is Good Hair.
Viral Social Media Challenges
In 2020, Kee Taylor created the popular #DMXChallenge. This challenge showed how many different ways Black women can style their hair. It featured pictures of her with various hairstyles. The background music was a song by DMX where he lists women's names. In 2021, her #BlackEffectChallenge also became very popular during Black History Month. This challenge showed Kee with 13 different natural hairstyles. The song "Black Effect" by the Carters played in the background.
