Keewaywin (pronounced Kee-way-win) is a small community in Northern Ontario, Canada. It is home to the Keewaywin First Nation, a group of Indigenous people called Oji-Cree. The name Keewaywin means "going home" in the Oji-Cree language.

This community is located north of a town called Red Lake, Ontario. It is connected to another community, Sandy Lake First Nation, by Sandy Lake. Keewaywin is part of larger groups like the Keewaytinook Okimakanak Council and the Nishnawbe Aski Nation. These groups help different First Nations work together.

The Keewaywin First Nation was formed when some members from Sandy Lake First Nation decided to create their own community. The land where Keewaywin is located is called an Indian reserve. This reserve is surrounded by an area known as the Unorganized Kenora District, which means it does not have its own local government.
