Keith Eugene Booth (born October 9, 1974) is an American basketball coach and former player. He played in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Booth played college basketball for the University of Maryland from 1993 to 1997. Later, he became an assistant coach at his old college. He also coached for the Loyola University Maryland men's basketball team.

Early Life and High School Success
Keith Booth grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. He went to Paul Laurence Dunbar High School. In 1992, his high school team won the national basketball championship. This was a huge achievement for them.
College Career at Maryland
After high school, many colleges wanted Keith to play for them. Coach Gary Williams really wanted him to join the University of Maryland team. For a while, many top high school players from Baltimore did not go to Maryland. This was because of some past issues with the college's basketball program.
Keith Booth was the first player from Baltimore in years to choose Maryland. He helped bring talented players back to the school. While playing for Maryland, Keith was a star. He scored 1,776 points during his time there. He also led the team in free throws, making 576 of them.
Playing in the NBA
In 1997, Keith Booth was picked by the Chicago Bulls in the NBA Draft. He was the 28th player chosen overall. He played two seasons with the Bulls. After his time in the NBA, Keith went back to the University of Maryland. He earned a college degree in criminology and criminal justice in 2003.
Coaching Career
After getting his degree, Keith worked at the Park School of Baltimore. He coached middle school baseball there. He also helped out at an after-school program at his old high school, Dunbar.
In 2004, Keith returned to the University of Maryland. He became an assistant coach under his former coach, Gary Williams. Keith helped with finding new players for the team. He also helped run the Gary Williams Summer Basketball Camp. When Coach Williams retired in 2011, Keith left Maryland.
In 2011, Keith Booth became an assistant coach for the women's basketball team at Loyola University Maryland. In 2013, he moved to coach the school's men's basketball team. In May 2019, Keith became the head coach of the basketball team at Dunbar High School. He coached his old high school team until February 2021.
