Keith Rucker played college football at Eastern Michigan University and Ohio Wesleyan University. After college, he joined the NFL. He played for several teams during his time in the league.

Rucker has coached at several high schools in Ohio. He was a head coach at Mount Healthy High School. He also served as an assistant coach at schools like Walnut Hills High School and Loveland High School (Ohio). In 2017, he was the defensive coordinator at La Salle High School (Cincinnati, Ohio). As of 2023, he is a linebackers coach at Bishop Fenwick High School (Franklin, Ohio).
College Coaching
Keith Rucker has coached at his old college, Ohio Wesleyan University, multiple times. He was a defensive line coach there. He also coached at Capital University and Denison University. At Denison, he was the defensive coordinator.
NFL Internships
Rucker also had internships with NFL teams. He worked as an intern defensive line coach for the New York Jets in 2014. In 2015, he had a similar role with the Cincinnati Bengals. These internships gave him experience at the professional level.
