History of Kendall
A post office opened in Kendall in 1874. The village was named after L. G. Kendall, who was a local farmer and owned land in the area.

Getting Around Kendall
In the past, people could travel to Kendall by train, arriving at the Kendalls Depot. Today, this old train station is a special historical building. The old train tracks have been turned into a popular path called the Elroy-Sparta State Trail, which is great for biking and walking.
