Kennelbach is a small community located in the Bregenz district of Vorarlberg, which is Austria's westernmost state. It's a cool place where the main office for the sports company Head is located. Head makes famous ski and tennis gear!

Exploring Kennelbach's Location
Kennelbach is found east of Lake Constance, a large and beautiful lake. The town sits about 430 meters (around 1,410 feet) above sea level. More than half of Kennelbach's land, about 54 percent, is covered by forests. This makes it a very green and natural area.

Early Rulers and Changes
For many years, the Habsburg family ruled the area of Vorarlberg, including Kennelbach. Their rule changed between Tyrol and Freiburg im Breisgau. From 1805 to 1814, Kennelbach was part of Bavaria, a region in Germany. After that, it became part of Austria again. Since 1861, it has been part of the Austrian state of Vorarlberg.
The Schindler Family's Influence
In the 1800s and early 1900s, a family named Schindler had a big impact on Kennelbach's economy. They owned cotton spinning factories, which were very important for jobs and business. These factories closed in 1968. The Schindler family's old home, called Villa Grünau, is now owned by the town government. Since 1992, this beautiful villa has been used as the town hall (Rathaus).
Post-War Period
After World War II, from 1945 to 1955, Kennelbach was in the part of Austria that was controlled by France. This was a time when different countries helped rebuild Austria.
