Kentaro Oi (大井 健太郎, Ōi Kentarō, born May 14, 1984) is a Japanese football player. He plays as a centre-back. Kentaro Oi is currently a player for Eastern Lions.

Kentaro Oi's Football Journey
Kentaro Oi started his professional football career in 2003. He joined Júbilo Iwata right after finishing high school. This was his local club.
Playing for Júbilo Iwata
Kentaro made his first professional appearance in July 2003. This was in a J.League Cup match. He became a regular player for Júbilo Iwata in 2007. He played in 26 games that season. He stayed with Júbilo Iwata for many years.
Moving to Shonan Bellmare and Albirex Niigata
In 2011, Kentaro Oi moved to Shonan Bellmare. He joined them for one year as a loan player. A loan means a player temporarily plays for another team. He played 36 league games for Shonan Bellmare. He scored 2 goals during his time there. After his loan, he decided to join Albirex Niigata permanently in 2011. He played for Albirex Niigata until 2015.
Returning to Júbilo Iwata
