Keren Neubach (Hebrew: קרן נויבך; born March 28, 1970) is a well-known Israeli journalist. She works as a television presenter for Israel's Channel 1 and a radio presenter for Reshet Bet. She is known for her clear reporting and for speaking up about important issues.

Keren Neubach's Early Life

Keren Neubach was born in a place called Erez, which is a kibbutz (a special community in Israel). Her father, Amnon Neubach, was a businessman. Keren grew up in a town called Kiryat Ono.

When she was younger, Keren dreamed of becoming a writer and writing novels. She studied History at Tel Aviv University.

Starting Her Journalism Career

When Keren joined the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), she became a reporter for Galei Zahal. This was a great start to her career. In 1991, she worked as a correspondent in Washington D.C., reporting from the United States. She also wrote for a newspaper called Al HaMishmar.

Reporting for Channel 1

In 1993, Keren returned to Israel. She started working for Channel 1, a major television station. First, she reported on different political groups. Later, she became the main political correspondent. This meant she covered important news about the government and elections.

She even wrote a book about the 1996 election for Prime Minister. The book was called HaMerots: Behirot 96, which means "The Race: Elections 96". It was about the competition between Shimon Peres and Benjamin Netanyahu.

In 2004, Keren started presenting news and current events shows. This was a change from just reporting from the field.

Keren Neubach often talks about the importance of treating everyone fairly. She cares deeply about social issues and sometimes shares her opinions on government policies, especially those about money and how people live. She also volunteers at a center that helps people who have gone through difficult experiences.

Radio Program and Recognition

In 2008, Keren started a new radio program on Kol Yisrael's Reshet Bet. This show focused on current events and important topics, not just politics.

In 2009, she won an award for finding out about problems in the government. This award was given by Ometz, an organization that works for good government and fairness. In the same year, her radio program was named the best current events program at the Radio Awards.
