Keturah was an important woman in the ancient stories of the Hebrew Bible, especially in the Book of Genesis. She became a wife of Abraham, a very famous figure in many religions. Keturah married Abraham after his first wife, Sarah, had passed away.

The Bible tells us that Abraham gave gifts to all of Keturah's sons. He then sent them to live in lands to the east. This was to make sure that Isaac, Abraham's son with Sarah, would be the main person to inherit everything. Keturah's sons are believed to have started many of the Arab tribes. An Idea About Ancestry
An interesting idea about Keturah's family comes from an African writer named Olaudah Equiano. He lived in the 1700s. Equiano mentioned that an English religious scholar, John Gill, thought that some African people might be descendants of Abraham and Keturah. This shows how different cultures have connected to these ancient stories.
