Kevin Glenn started his professional career in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played for many different teams throughout his time in the league.
Saskatchewan Roughriders (First Time)
Glenn first joined the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2001. He played in 18 games in his first season. He threw for 938 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran for 152 yards and two touchdowns.
He continued with the Roughriders in 2002 and 2003. In 2002, he played in 11 games, throwing for 777 yards. In 2003, he played in all 18 regular-season games.
Toronto Argonauts and Winnipeg Blue Bombers
In 2004, Glenn was traded to the Toronto Argonauts. On the same day, he was traded again to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He became the main quarterback for the Bombers later that season. He passed for 2,329 yards and 14 touchdowns.
The 2005 season was a great one for Glenn with the Bombers. He threw for 3,571 yards and 27 touchdowns. He had an amazing game on October 10, 2005, throwing for 410 yards and five touchdowns.
In 2006, Glenn helped the Bombers reach the playoffs for the first time in two years. He continued to be a strong player for Winnipeg.
Becoming an Elite Quarterback
In 2007, Kevin Glenn became one of the best quarterbacks in the CFL. He led Winnipeg to the 95th Grey Cup by winning the East Division final. However, he broke his arm in that game and missed the Grey Cup, which the Bombers lost.
The 2008 season was tough for Glenn and the Bombers. He was released by the team in March 2009.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Glenn signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2009. He started as a backup but soon became the main quarterback. He led the Tiger-Cats to the playoffs for the first time since 2004.
He continued to lead the Tiger-Cats to the playoffs in 2010 and 2011. In 2010, he had a very strong year, throwing for 5,100 yards and 33 touchdowns.
Calgary Stampeders
In 2012, Glenn was traded to the Calgary Stampeders. He was supposed to be a backup, but the starting quarterback got injured. Glenn stepped up and led the Stampeders to 10 wins in 15 games. He helped them reach the 100th Grey Cup, but they lost the championship game.
In 2013, Glenn continued to play well for the Stampeders. He passed Tom Clements to become the 10th all-time leading quarterback in passing yards in the CFL. He helped the Stamps achieve a league-best record of 14-4.
Ottawa Redblacks and BC Lions
In 2013, Glenn was drafted by the new team, the Ottawa Redblacks. However, he asked to be traded because another quarterback was signed as the starter.
In 2014, Glenn was traded to the BC Lions. He started in 17 games for the Lions. The Lions made the playoffs that year through a special "crossover" rule.
Saskatchewan Roughriders (Second Time)
In 2015, Glenn returned to the Saskatchewan Roughriders, the team where he started his career. He became the starting quarterback after an injury to the main starter. He played well, but the team struggled that season.
Montreal Alouettes
Later in the 2015 season, Glenn was traded to the Montreal Alouettes. He played in three games for them.
He started the 2016 season as the Alouettes' main quarterback. He played in nine of the first ten games.

In September 2016, Glenn was traded back to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He served as a backup quarterback.
Saskatchewan Roughriders (Third Time)
In 2017, Glenn signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders for a third time. He won the starting job during training camp. He had a solid season, leading the team to a 10-8 record and a playoff spot. In August 2017, he moved into sixth place on the CFL's all-time passing yards list. On September 29, 2017, he earned his 100th win as a starting quarterback.
Edmonton Eskimos
On January 15, 2018, the Edmonton Eskimos signed Kevin Glenn. This meant that Glenn had now been part of every team in the Canadian Football League! On September 29, 2018, he played in his 300th CFL game.
Kevin Glenn officially retired from playing football on June 12, 2019, which was his 40th birthday.
Future and Coaching
Even after retiring, Kevin Glenn has joked about coming out of retirement to play for a potential new CFL team, the Atlantic Schooners, just to keep his unique record of being part of every CFL team.
Since 2020, Glenn has been coaching high school football. From 2020 to 2022, he was an assistant coach at Detroit Catholic Central High School. In May 2023, he became the head coach at University Liggett School, leading them to a 7-3 record. In May 2024, he was announced as the head coach for the football team at University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy.
