In 2008, he moved to another country to play. He joined a team called Bella Vista in Uruguay. After that, he moved to another Uruguayan team, Central Español, before the 2009 Clausura tournament began.
Playing for His Country: International Career
Kevin Hernández has also played for his country, Honduras. He was part of the Honduras Under-23 (U-23) team. This team won the Pre-Olympic championship for CONCACAF in 2008. CONCACAF is the football organization for North, Central American, and Caribbean countries.
During this championship, Kevin was recognized as the best goalkeeper. He made his first appearance for the senior national team on May 22, 2008. This was in a friendly match against the Belize team. Later that same year, he played his second match against Haiti. Kevin also had the honor of representing Honduras at the 2008 Summer Olympics.
