Kevin Hughes is an American former professional football player. He was born on August 6, 1988. He played as an offensive tackle, which is a position on the offensive line. Offensive tackles help protect the quarterback and block for running plays.
Hughes played college football at Southeastern Louisiana University. He also attended Amite High School in Amite City, Louisiana. After college, he joined the National Football League (NFL).
Playing in the NFL
Kevin Hughes began his professional football career in 2011. He played for the St. Louis Rams in the NFL.
St. Louis Rams
Hughes signed with the St. Louis Rams on July 29, 2011. He played in three games for the Rams during the 2011 season. He was later released by the team in August 2012.
Other NFL Teams
After playing for the Rams, Hughes was part of several other NFL teams. He joined the San Diego Chargers' practice squad in November 2012. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but are not on the main roster.
In 2013, Hughes signed with the Green Bay Packers. He was with them until August of that year.
