Kevin Andrew Jones (born August 25, 1989) is an American professional basketball player. He currently plays for the Sun Rockers Shibuya team in Japan's B.League. Kevin is known for playing as a power forward. He played college basketball for West Virginia University, where he was recognized as an All-American.

High School Basketball Journey
Kevin Jones went to Mount Vernon High School in Mount Vernon, New York. During his junior year, he scored about 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds per game. He also blocked two shots per game.
In his senior year, his performance improved. He averaged 23 points, 14 rebounds, and two blocks per game. Kevin helped lead Mount Vernon to win the New York State PHSAA championships in both 2006 and 2007.
College Basketball Career
Kevin Jones played college basketball for West Virginia University.
Freshman Year
As a freshman, Kevin scored in double figures in eight games. This included a streak of six games in a row during the Big East conference play. He averaged 6.3 points and 4.9 rebounds in about 19 minutes per game.
Sophomore Year
In his second year, Kevin set a new school record. He had 135 offensive rebounds in one season. He also made 42 three-point shots, which was the second-highest on his team. Kevin was named to the Big East All-Tournament team. He averaged 13.5 points and 7.2 rebounds per game.
Junior Year
During his junior season, Kevin received an honorable mention for the All-Big East team. He averaged 13.1 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. He played about 35 minutes in each game.
Senior Year
In his final college year, Kevin was named to the All-Big East first team. He was also on the NABC Division I All-District 5 first team. He had an amazing season, averaging 19.9 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. He also averaged 1.2 assists and 1.0 blocks in about 38 minutes per game.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Kevin Jones was not chosen in the 2012 NBA draft. However, he still began his professional career.
Early Career and NBA Experience
In 2012, Kevin signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers but was later waived. He then joined the Canton Charge, a team in the NBA's development league (now called the G-League). After playing well for the Charge, he re-signed with the Cavaliers.
Kevin played a few games in the NBA for the Cavaliers in the 2012-13 season. He scored 2 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in his first NBA game. His best game that season included 11 points and 10 rebounds against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Playing in Different Countries
After his time with the Cavaliers and Charge, Kevin began playing basketball around the world.
- In 2014, he played for the San Miguel Beermen in the Philippine Basketball Association.
- In 2015, he played for Cholet Basket in France.
- From 2015 to 2016, he played for Partizan in Serbia.
- From 2016 to 2017, he was with PBC Lokomotiv Kuban in Russia.
- In 2017-18, he played for Baskonia in Spain and then Nanterre 92 in France. He was even named the Most Valuable Player of the month in May for his performance in France.
Playing in Japan
Since 2018, Kevin Jones has been playing in Japan.
- He first joined the Ryukyu Golden Kings in the B.League.
- Then, he played for Alvark Tokyo for two seasons.
- Since 2021, he has been playing for the Sun Rockers Shibuya. He briefly played for Kyoto Hannaryz in 2023-2024 before returning to Sun Rockers Shibuya in 2024.
