Keweenaw Bay is a large inlet, or "arm," of Lake Superior in North America. Lake Superior is one of the biggest freshwater lakes on Earth! This beautiful bay is found next to the Upper Peninsula in the state of Michigan, United States. It sits just southeast of the famous Keweenaw Peninsula.

Keweenaw Bay is quite large, stretching about 22 miles (35 kilometers) long. At its widest point, near the mouth, it measures about 12 miles (19 kilometers) across. The very end of the bay is located within the land of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. This community is a group of Native American people who have lived in this area for a very long time. There is also a small community nearby that shares the name Keweenaw Bay.
