Keyaron James Fox, born on January 24, 1982, is a former professional football player. He played as a linebacker, a position on the defense. Keyaron was chosen by the Kansas City Chiefs in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech).

Fox also played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Washington Redskins, and Houston Texans. He achieved a major victory with the Steelers, winning Super Bowl XLIII against the Arizona Cardinals.

Playing for the Kansas City Chiefs

Keyaron Fox started his professional career with the Kansas City Chiefs. They picked him as the 93rd player overall in the 2004 NFL Draft. In his first year, called his rookie season, he played in 12 games and made 7 tackles. His second year was quieter, with only three tackles. In 2006, he had his best season with the Chiefs, making 52 tackles and one sack. In his last year with the team, he played in ten games and recorded 21 tackles.

Time with the Pittsburgh Steelers

On March 12, 2008, Fox joined the Pittsburgh Steelers as a free agent. This means his contract with his previous team had ended, and he could sign with any team he wanted. In 2008, he played in 13 games and made 17 tackles. That year, the Steelers won Super Bowl XLIII by beating the Arizona Cardinals.

After the 2009 season, Fox signed a new two-year contract with the Steelers. In Week 6 of the 2009 season, he had a memorable play. He stepped in for an injured teammate and intercepted a pass from quarterback Brett Favre. Fox ran the ball 82 yards for a touchdown, helping the Steelers win 27–17 against the undefeated Minnesota Vikings. Keyaron Fox was also chosen as the Steelers' special teams captain in both 2009 and 2010. The special teams are the players who handle kickoffs, punts, and field goals.

Joining the Washington Redskins

On August 6, 2011, Keyaron Fox signed with the Washington Redskins. He played for them during the 2011 NFL season.

With the Houston Texans

On July 26, 2012, Fox signed with the Houston Texans. Unfortunately, he got a knee injury during training camp. Because of this, he was placed on the injured reserve list on August 9, which meant he couldn't play for the season.
