Playing for the Saskatchewan Roughriders

After leaving the Lions, Kierrie quickly found a new team. He signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on November 10, 2012. He played with the Roughriders for two seasons.

Playing for the Ottawa Redblacks

Kierrie then moved to a new team, the Ottawa Redblacks. He signed with them on February 18, 2014. He played in the first four games of the season for Ottawa.
