Kim Jong-jik (Korean: 김종직, hanja:金宗直, June 1431 - August 19, 1492) was an important scholar, politician, and soldier during Korea's Joseon Dynasty. He followed a way of thinking called Neo-Confucianism, which was very important in Korea at that time. His pen name was Jeomphiljae.
