Kim Massie (born in 1956 or 1957 – died October 12, 2020) was an American singer. She was known for her powerful voice in blues and soul music. Kim Massie performed mostly in her hometown of St. Louis, Missouri.

Early Life and Music
Kim Massie started singing in gospel choirs when she was young. These choirs were in East St. Louis, Illinois. Even though she sang beautifully, she never had any formal voice lessons.
She spent her teenage years in Lorain, Ohio. In 1999, she moved back to St. Louis. She wanted to follow her dream of becoming a professional singer.
Discovering Her Talent
Kim Massie was discovered by chance. She was singing with a famous St. Louis saxophonist named Oliver Sain. People quickly noticed her amazing voice. Soon after, she started her own band. She called her band the Solid Senders.
