Kimberly Scott is an American actress. She is known for her roles in many movies and TV shows. Kimberly was nominated for a Tony Award in 1988. This award was for her acting in the play Joe Turner's Come and Gone. She has also been in popular films like The Abyss (1989) and Batman Forever (1995).

About Kimberly Scott
Early Life and Education
Kimberly Scott was born in Kingsville, Texas. She went to college at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. She also studied at the University of Texas. Later, she earned a special degree called an MFA in 1987. She got this degree from the Yale School of Drama.
Stage Acting Career
In 1988, Kimberly Scott was nominated for two big awards. These were the Tony Award and the Drama Desk Award. Both nominations were for her role in August Wilson's play Joe Turner's Come and Gone. She was recognized as a top supporting actress in a play.
Kimberly has continued to act on stage. In 2010, she played Mama Nadi in a play called Ruined. This play was shown at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In 2011, she acted as Mistress Quickly in Shakespeare's Henry IV, Part Two. Later, in 2018, she performed in Shakespeare's “Henry V”. She played three different characters in that play.
In 2016, Kimberly was part of a special discussion at Yale University. They talked about 50 years of the Yale Repertory Theatre.

Kimberly Scott has appeared in many films. Some of her early movies include The Abyss and Gross Anatomy. She also acted in The Waterdance and Drop Zone.
She often worked with director Joel Schumacher. She was in his films like Flatliners, Falling Down, and The Client. Kimberly is unique because she played different characters in two Batman movies. These were Batman Forever and Batman & Robin.
Other movies she has been in include K-PAX (2001) and I Am Sam (2001). She also appeared in World Trade Center (2006). Her more recent film roles include Love & Other Drugs (2010) and Respect (2021).
Television Roles
Kimberly Scott has also had many roles on television. She appeared in the TV series MacGyver. She was also in Boy Meets World and ER.
Her other TV appearances include Chicago Hope and 3rd Rock from the Sun. She also acted in JAG and Sister, Sister. Kimberly was in NYPD Blue and Touched by an Angel. From 2000 to 2001, she had a recurring role in Family Law. She also appeared in 7th Heaven and Medium.
More recently, since 2019, she has been playing Ogechi in the TV show Bob Hearts Abishola.
